Scalp Therapy & Hair Loss Prevention
At Unique Hair Concepts, we don’t just restore what’s been lost—we help protect the hair you still have and encourage healthy and stronger hair growth. Our prevention and scalp therapy treatments are designed to strengthen follicles, revitalize the scalp, and slow the progression of thinning.
Why Early Intervention Matters
Hair loss is a progressive condition. By the time visible thinning appears, up to 50% of your density may already be gone. The good news: early intervention can make a meaningful, lasting difference.
With more than 30 years of experience, founder Flora Fuentes and the UHC team specialize in personalized, non-surgical plans designed to preserve existing hair while supporting stronger, healthier growth.
A healthy scalp is the foundation of healthy hair. At UHC, our scalp health and trichology services focus on addressing the root causes of hair loss. Whether you’re experiencing inflammation, buildup, excess oil, dryness, or scalp conditions such as psoriasis or dandruff, our tailored protocols help restore balance and optimize follicle function.

Common Causes
Autoimmune Response

Fungal Infection
Fungal overgrowth disrupts scalp microbiome and damages hair.

Stress and moisture can trigger or worsen seborrheic dermatitis and other conditions.

What to Expect
Your first visit is a private, no-pressure consultation. We assess your scalp carefully to identify exactly what you're dealing with. We sometimes coordinate with dermatology for proper diagnosis and treatment planning.
We recommend hair care practices, topical treatments, and lifestyle modifications that support healthy scalp ecology. Sometimes simple changes (gentler cleansing, reduced heat, different products) make a huge difference.
Have Questions?
We Have Answers.
What does a trichology consultation for scalp conditions include?
We begin with a thorough scalp analysis using magnification and imaging tools. This helps us identify blockages, thinning zones, and skin conditions that may not be visible to the naked eye, allowing for personalized treatment planning.
Do you treat the scalp condition or just the hair loss?
Both. We address the scalp condition directly with CRLAB formulations and protocols, and we monitor your hair health to catch and prevent loss. If you need a dermatology referral, we coordinate that too.
How often would I need to come in?
Clients on a treatment regimen may visit the center weekly for professional scalp treatments, depending on their condition and response. Others prefer to follow their protocol at home, returning every 5 to 10 weeks for follow-up visits to monitor progress.
Can scalp therapy work alongside dermatological treatment?
Absolutely. Many clients are seeing a dermatologist for prescriptions while doing scalp therapy with us. The two approaches complement each other.
How long before I see improvement?
Scalp inflammation often improves within 2–4 weeks. Reduced shedding may take 4–8 weeks, while visible new growth typically appears within 3 to 6 months. Results vary based on the condition and consistency of treatment.
What if I also need hair restoration?
We handle both. If inflammation has caused significant loss, we can combine scalp treatment with a hair system, topper, or other restoration. Treating the scalp first gives restoration the best foundation.
