The UHC Signature Prosthesis is a fully customized hair system made exclusively for our clients by a team of master hair artisans in Milan, Italy. Using 100% unprocessed human hair, each system is individually crafted to match your scalp and skin tone seamlessly.

The UHC Signature Prosthesis is a custom non-surgical hair system built around a second-scalp-like membrane onto which unprocessed human hair is individually inserted by hand. Unlike mass-produced wigs or toppers, every aspect of your Signature Prosthesis is created from scratch specifically for you—your measurements, your hair characteristics, your scalp color, your face shape.


The hair used is premium, never-before-colored or chemically processed. It comes from carefully selected sources and maintains the integrity and luster of virgin human hair. 

Once your measurements are taken and your specifications sent to Milan, the artisans there hand-anchor each strand onto the custom membrane, ensuring natural growth direction, proper density, and seamless blending. The final result is a prosthesis that feels like a second scalp and looks indistinguishable from naturally growing hair.

    You'll meet with us to discuss your hair loss, lifestyle, and expectations. We perform a detailed scalp analysis, evaluating hair health, scalp condition, and overall hair characteristics. Precise measurements are taken to capture your scalp's exact contours. A 3D digital model is created—this becomes the blueprint for your custom base.

  • Hair Matching & Anchoring

    Unprocessed human hair strands are individually selected to match your natural hair. Each strand is hand-anchored at the correct angle and spacing—a meticulous process that takes skill and precision.

  • Base Production in Italy

    Your scalp replica is 3D-printed at CRLAB's facility using hypoallergenic polymer. The micro-thin base is color-matched to your scalp and optimized for comfort and security.

  • Styling, Education & Ongoing Care

    Your completed system arrives at UHC, where it's custom-cut and styled to your preference. You can recreate your natural look or try something entirely new. The system is securely applied to your scalp. We teach you daily care, styling techniques, and maintenance routines so you feel confident and in control.

You'll meet with our team in a relaxed setting to discuss your hair loss, lifestyle, and vision for your restored hair. We evaluate your scalp health and remaining hair to determine if the Signature Prosthesis is the right fit. Precise measurements are taken of your scalp to ensure a perfect fit. Hair samples are collected to match your natural color, texture, wave pattern, and density.

    Both are custom solutions, but they differ in design and production. The CRLAB CNC uses 3D technology to create the base and is made by CRLAB in Italy. The UHC Signature Prosthesis uses a different membrane-based approach and is hand-crafted by our artisans in Milan. Both are excellent; the choice depends on your preferences, timeline, and specific needs. We'll help you determine which is right for you.

  • Can I match my natural hair color and texture exactly?

    Yes. Hair samples are taken during your consultation to match your color, texture, wave pattern, and density as closely as possible. The artisans in Milan work to create a seamless blend between your custom prosthesis and any remaining natural hair.

  • What if I want to change the style after it's made?

    Yes. Once your Signature Prosthesis is delivered and fitted, it can be cut, colored, and styled just like natural hair. The premium unprocessed human hair responds to styling and can be customized to your preferences.

  • How often do I need to visit for maintenance?

    Most clients visit approximately once a month for follow-up appointments (typically 90 minutes). During these visits, the system is re-secured and cleaned to maintain its appearance and security. This becomes part of your regular hair care routine.
