How It Works

  • Consultation & 3D Scalp Mapping

    You'll meet with us to discuss your hair loss, lifestyle, and expectations. We perform a detailed scalp analysis, evaluating hair health, scalp condition, and overall hair characteristics. Precise measurements are taken to capture your scalp's exact contours. A 3D digital model is created—this becomes the blueprint for your custom base.

  • Hair Matching & Anchoring

    Unprocessed human hair strands are individually selected to match your natural hair. Each strand is hand-anchored at the correct angle and spacing—a meticulous process that takes skill and precision.

  • Base Production in Italy

    Your scalp replica is 3D-printed at CRLAB's facility using hypoallergenic polymer. The micro-thin base is color-matched to your scalp and optimized for comfort and security.

  • Styling, Education & Ongoing Care

    Your completed system arrives at UHC, where it's custom-cut and styled to your preference. You can recreate your natural look or try something entirely new. The system is securely applied to your scalp. We teach you daily care, styling techniques, and maintenance routines so you feel confident and in control.

We start with the event, the date, the look you're after, and the hair you're working with now. We listen, then walk you through the options that fit your situation, your timeline, and your budget.

Selection & Specification

We choose the right solution for the job — a full system, a prosthesis, a topper, extensions, or a custom wig — and lock in the details: color, texture, density, length, hairline, and styling direction.

Build & Color Match

Custom systems begin production to your specifications. Pieces that don't require a full custom build are sourced, color-matched, and prepared to spec.

Fitting

You come in for a fitting before the event. We adjust, refine, and make sure everything sits exactly the way it should — well in advance, never the day of.

  • How far in advance should I book?

    Several months ahead is ideal for a fully custom system. The earlier we start, the more room we have for production and fittings. Shorter timelines are sometimes workable with the right service — we'll tell you at the consultation.

  • Can you match my natural hair color and texture?

    Yes. We match color, texture, density, and length precisely so the piece reads as your hair.

  • Will it stay put through the whole day?

    es. Our systems and pieces are built for real-world wear — exercise, swimming, weather. A long event day is well within their range.

  • Can my own hairstylist do the styling?

    Absolutely. Our pieces can be styled with heat, pinned, braided, and dressed up. We can coordinate  with your stylist or handle styling ourselves — your call.

  • What if I only need it for one day?

    That's a real and reasonable use case. Some clients may want a piece for a single event and nothing more. Others may decide during the process that they want to keep wearing it. Either is fine.

  • Will it look natural in photos?

    Yes. Properly fitted, color-matched, and styled, our work photographs naturally. Most people who see your photos won't know unless you tell them.
