And because coconut oil is covered mainly of smaller medium-chain fatty acids, it infiltrates hair more deeply and faster than other conditioners.

What You Need

  • 1 tbsp of Coconut Oil (more if you have long hair)
  • 1-2 drops of sea buck wonders sea buckthorn seed oil
  • 1-2 drops of sea buck wonders sea buckthorn

Time to Nourish the Hair

Scoop out the coconut oil into a small bowl and microwave it for six seconds. As soon as the coconut oil has melted, add the Sea Buckthorn oils and stir. After all the oils have blended, simply work the mixture into the ends of your hair.

Leave in the mask for about 30 to 45 minutes, the drier your hair the longer you want to leave it in. To get the moisture deep into your hair shaft, use a blow drier on your oiled ends. The oil will absorb into your hair which is a good sign. Don't use a flat or curling iron, there is a chance you could over-heat your hair, and also it won’t absorb the oil as it should.

Next, wash your hair as usual. Make sure you shampoo the hair thoroughly, if it’s not shampoo right your hair will look and feel oily. This is a very important step, shampoo once again If necessary. By now, the hair mask has gotten as deep into your hair shaft as it's going to. Depending on your hair type, you can add normal conditioner.

After the wash, you can style your hair as usual. For more information on hair treatments and healthy scalp care, contact the team at Unique Hair Concepts for a free, private consultation.
