How Does It Happen?
The first step is a private, one-on-one conversation with our owner, Flora. During this relaxed and confidential meeting, Flora will spend a few minutes chatting with you about your hair loss history and asking about your goals and expectations for hair replacement. During this visit, you’ll receive a hair and scalp analysis that informs everything we do for you. This is a quick and non-invasive procedure involving the use of a special camera, which allows us to get a closer glimpse of your scalp and follicles. We'll measure the conditions in your scalp during this first consultation, and once we start treatment, we'll monitor those same conditions.
It might seem like we're paying a lot of attention to your scalp, and that's exactly what we'll be doing. The results of any hair restoration treatment or hair loss prevention program can work better if we improve the health of the scalp. In some cases, debris and residue from products can even clog the follicles in your scalp and prevent new growth from breaking through. By nourishing your scalp and keeping it free of impurities, we can create the ideal conditions for hair to grow.
Planning Your Hair Loss Prevention Program
When we plan your hair loss prevention program, we’ll likely recommend more than one solution. The reason you’ll receive multiple treatments or products is often because we are trying to achieve more than one objective. We want to resolve the hair loss that’s already happened and prevent any more loss or thinning in the future. Our success will depend upon the cause of your unique hair loss and how closely you follow the plan we create.
Here are some of the ways we prevent hair loss:
- Hair care recommendations
- Laser hair therapy
- Trichological treatments
- Vitamin supplement recommendations
- Scalp therapy
- Referrals to qualified medical professionals
